Freight Farms grew out of co-founders’ Jon Friedman and Brad McNamara’s desire to eliminate the unnecessary economic and environmental costs of food miles by producing food locally. The two entrepreneurs have been working together since 2005 to develop opportunities with big impact potential.
Jonathan Friedman
Co-Founder
Jon Friedman is a designer who has been shaping the next generation of sustainable consumer products for some of the top consumer brands like Unilever, P&G, Merck, United Healthcare and more. His professional experience with product development has put Freight Farms on the map for its innovation and sustainable design. Brad McNamara
Co-Founder
Co-founder Brad McNamara has used his marketing experience to create awareness around environmental issues. As the creator of Carfreebrad.com he has been a voice for cyclists across the globe. McNamara’s business and marketing background has connected Freight Farms to the world stage. McNamara has an MBA and Masters in Environmental Science from Clark University.
