Saint Joseph’s College of Maine
See how other schools use their container farms on campus! Saint Joseph’s not only serves fresh greens in the dining halls, but uses their farm as the basis for a student jobs program and multi-disciplinary curriculum.
Campus Farmer to Farming Career
The Clark University farm legacy continues with Jack Levine, who inherited the Head Farmer title after Nick Pagan. As a senior, Jack used the farm for the basis of an independent study, during which he developed a comprehensive business plan. The plan was so good, Jack decided to make it his career after graduation. Today, he operates Town to Table and hopes to inspire others to farm.
